Red Eye is a site-specific installation, created during a period when I spent extended time in the exhibition space at the Art Department. I wrapped the space with recycled cardboard and stayed there, treating it as a private, intimate environment. The room held a mattress and personal objects, and I left some items behind as traces of my time, along with photos and drawings documenting my father’s chemotherapy treatments.
